Parafilm® M paper roll, 100 mm wide and 38 metres long. It is a 127 micron thick translucent polyolefin/wax film, malleable and stretchable to three or four times its total length.

It is ideal for laboratory work as it is a self-sealing thermoplastic film which allows it to conform to surfaces such as culture tubes, Erlenmeyer flasks, vials, Petri dishes and all types of containers with an adequate seal to protect against moisture loss, spillage, contamination or evaporation. Can be sterilized by radiation techniques such as hydrogen peroxide.
