Septum and aluminium capsule are available for independent sale. See in accessories.
50ml Amber Glass Injection Vial with Septum Cap and Capsule Closure
This small vessel in the form of a beaker, bottle or flask is designed to hold injectable medicines, from which a convenient dose can be extracted. Made of unpainted, mass-coloured glass, it is suitable for storing drugs or reagents in liquid, powder or capsule form. It can also be used as a sample container.
Cleaning or sterilisation by steam autoclaving at 135 °C.
Empty pharmaceutical container for antibiotics with a 20 mm mouth, made of type II and III calcium soda glass, which meets the specifications of the European and US Pharmacopoeia.
The quality control system guarantees dimensional characteristics, thermal shock resistance, hydrolytic resistance and pressure resistance.
Type III soda-lime glass is the most common. Type II soda-lime glass is suitable for containing products that may come into contact with blood and is treated with sodium sulphate ( Na2SO4), which gives it a high hydrolytic resistance. Type III glass after treatment with sodium sulphate becomes Type II glass (soda-lime-silica glass with high hydrolytic resistance).
The silicone septum and the aluminium capsule are sold separately.
