250 ml Erlenmeyer Flask for Cell Culture
Glass laboratory instrument for use in microbiology. The base of the flask has a semi globular internal deformation that changes the direction of the fluid flow, creating turbulences and thus favouring oxygenation in the growth processes of cells in culture.
Simax branded glass from the Czech Republic (EU - CE), manufactured in borosilicate 3.3 glass according to ISO 3585 Standard. It has Simax silkscreen printing, graduation and writing area in white.
Erlenmeyer borosilicate glass bottles can withstand multiple autoclave cycles.
The lid and the pouring ring are made of polypropylene plastic (PP) and are resistant to autoclave sterilization up to 140°C temperature.
General properties of borosilicate glass 3.3
The glass is distinguished by its very good chemical resistance to water, salt solutions, acids, bases and organic solvents. It can only be attacked by hydrofluoric acid and, at high temperatures, by strong bases and phosphoric acid.
