Prefabricated glass parts with ground joints facilitate connection and assembly in laboratory equipment. Ground glass joints have standard dimensions and are identified by NS or JS.
A glass piece or glass tube is supplemented with threaded inlets, thermometer adapters or hose connectors for venting or introducing vacuum into a system.
The frosted glass joints fit together with airtight connections and the use of clips is recommended to maintain this joint. See accessories for the appropriate clips for the size of the joint.
This fractionating column is placed between the flask and the refrigerant in order to facilitate evaporation and separation of the components in the distillation processes.
Top standard taper outer and lower inner joints, both being the same size: JS 29/32. The total length of the column is 320 mm.
