2000 ml Glass Erlenmeyer Flask with Screw Cap
Basic laboratory instrument for mixing solutions, cultures of organisms (aerobic or anaerobic) as well as for storage.
Its flat base and conical body make it ideal for agitation processes without the risk of spilling. This is complemented with stabilization rings that are placed on the neck of the container to give stability when used with thermostatic baths (see accessories).
Manufactured by Simax in borosilicate 3.3 glass according to ISO 3585 Standard with the manufacturer's silkscreen printing mark. Painted in white, the graduations and a writing panel to facilitate the work of identification. Graduation indicates approximate volumes.
Borosilicate glass bottles can withstand multiple autoclave cycles.
Reference includes the cover and pouring ring, which are made of blue polypropylene (PP) plastic. Resistant to autoclave sterilization up to 140 °C. Closure protects the contents from contamination. We have replacement lid and pouring ring (see accessories).
General properties of borosilicate glass 3.3
The glass is distinguished by its very good chemical resistance to water, salt solutions, acids, bases and organic solvents. It can only be attacked by hydrofluoric acid and, at high temperatures, by strong bases and phosphoric acid.
