Teaching binocular stereomicroscope, 200
This light and compact equipment is ideal for education or teaching, for scientific and biological work, and for the observation of minerals or small insects or specimens.
The stereomicroscope is used to study enlarged images when a three-dimensional image is required. The object being analysed is viewed through two lenses that focus in two different positions, so that each eye of the user obtains a different and very sharp image, giving depth perception.
Useful in many fields of work, we highlight, among others:
— Basic, secondary, professional and university education.
— Electronics, watchmaking, optics, textiles, jewellery, painting, foundry, graphics, galvanisation, quality control processes.
— Biology, veterinary medicine, dissection, research, dental prosthesis.
— Mineralogy, gemmology, art restoration, philately, graphology (stamps, coins, gems, jewellery, minerals, paintings, graphics, traces…).
The binocular or stereo-microscope magnifies the image 20 or 40 times with standard 10x eyepieces and 2x and 4x objectives.
The head is tilted at 45°. For better adaptation of the observation, it has a diopter correction in both tubes of ± 5 diopters with an inter-pupillary distance of 55-77 mm.
Bilateral focusing controls: Macro and micrometric focusing are performed by independent controls located on each side of the stand. These can be operated with both hands and are suitable for both right and left-handed users.
The working distance is 76 mm. The focusing system is rack and pinion with a safety stop at the end of the stroke.
The lighting is provided by LEDs in incident and transmitted light.
The ground glass stage is 90 mm in diameter and has clamps to hold the samples.
Accessories include eye cups and a protective cover.
