Sterile Membrane Filter of 47 mm diameter with Grid
Membrane filters are surface filters and all particles are retained on the surface of the filter. They have a uniform pore structure and distribution, which makes it possible to accurately determine the maximum particle size.
They have been sterilised with ethylene oxide under the following conditions:
— Ethylene oxide concentration 800 mg/1 L (±50 mg)
— Temperature: 50,2 °C (± 3 °C)
— Exposure time: 480 minutes (± 5 min)
They have an absolute degree of filtration and a high flow rate and are made of a mixture of nitrate and cellulose acetate which is hydrophilic in nature, biologically inert and has good thermal stability.
Membrane filters are ideal for clarification and sterilisation of biological solutions, aqueous solutions or microbiological analysis of water, beverages, etc.
Available in different sizes as well as different filter pore sizes: 0.22 µm, 0.45 µm, 0.80 µm.
