Characteristics of Borosilicate Glass 3.3
Borosilicate glass is renowned for its exceptional chemical resistance against water, saline solutions, acids, bases, and organic solvents. It is susceptible to corrosion only by hydrofluoric acid and, at high temperatures, by strong bases and phosphoric acid. This material features a low coefficient of linear expansion, making it ideal for applications requiring thermal stability.
