Mechanical two-pan balance with 100g maximum capacity and legibility of 0.02g
Strong and durable balance, it is mainly intended for educational work and allows to explain the basics of weighing. It has a traditional two-pan balance design and is based on the comparison of a known and an unknown weight that are balanced on opposing pans.
It has a capacity of 100g and a legibility of 0.02g with a functional design in a wooden box that allows the balance to be stored when space is limited, as well as dismantled and stored when not in use. It measures 300x160x80 mm and with a plate of 80 Ø. The weighing system is made of steel with treated steel blades and has a locking system.
Includes set of 8 weights: 1 weighs 50 g, 1 weighs 20 g, 2 weighs 10 g, 1 weighs 5 g, 2 weighs 2 g and 1 weighs 1 g.
The balance must be in a standby position when placing or removing weights or samples on the plates, otherwise the blades and bearings may affect the correct functioning of the balance. Weights and samples must be placed in the centre of the pan, and the weight of the sample must not exceed the load capacity of the balance.
