RS-120S Dry Block Heater for Laboratory Sample Heating

The RS-120S dry block heater is a compact, precise and easy-to-use unit designed for laboratory work requiring stable temperature control and straightforward operation. It allows samples to be heated up to 120 °C and features a timer, LED display and over-temperature protection, making it suitable for incubation, reagent heating and other routine laboratory procedures.

Temperature control and operation

This model operates over a temperature range from 5 °C above ambient to 120 °C, with an accuracy of ± 0.5 °C and a maximum heating rate of 5.5 °C/min. Temperature and time are set intuitively using push buttons and a control knob, and the unit can be used in both continuous operation and timed mode. The programmable timer can be set from 1 min to 99 h 59 min.

Safety and design

The unit incorporates over-temperature protection with a safety cut-off temperature of 140 °C. It also includes an upper protective lid to help retain heat during operation. Its compact dimensions of 175 × 290 × 85 mm make it easy to integrate on the bench, while its power rating of 160 W and power supply of 100 - 120 V / 220 - 240 V, 50 / 60 Hz allow flexible use in different laboratory environments.

The RS-120S is supplied without blocks. Blocks are selected separately according to the required tube volume or working format, allowing the unit to be adapted to different analytical, sample preparation and microbiology applications.
