Pouring ring for bottles with ISO GL45 thread
The pouring ring is fitted to the neck of laboratory bottles with a standard ISO GL45 thread to provide a more directed liquid flow. Its profile helps channel the liquid during pouring and reduce dripping onto the outside of the bottle neck.
It is available in white or blue polypropylene (PP) and red polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). PP models can be autoclaved at temperatures up to 140 °C, while the PBT model offers heat resistance up to 180 °C.
PP offers good chemical resistance to many commonly used aqueous solutions, salts, acids and bases.
PBT provides higher heat resistance, good dimensional stability and compatibility with a wide range of chemicals. The actual resistance of each material must be checked according to the substance, its concentration, the temperature and the contact time.
The different material and colour options allow the ring to be selected according to the temperature, chemical compatibility and identification requirements of each application.
