PTFE Stirrer Rod for Laboratory Use
PTFE stirrer rods are designed for use in spherical reactors and mechanical stirring systems, providing efficient and homogeneous mixing across a wide range of chemical applications. Their two-blade folding stirrer impellerdesign ensures controlled agitation and proper fluid circulation, even in higher-viscosity media.
Manufactured from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), these rods offer outstanding chemical inertness and excellent resistance to acids, bases and organic solvents. They feature a 7 mm shaft diameter, compatible with our reactor flask adapter, ensuring a secure fit and reliable operation during the stirring process.
These rods are used with our reactor flask adapter, which must be selected according to the size of the ground joint.
Technical features:
• Chemically inert material with high resistance (PTFE).
• Paddle-type impeller for efficient and uniform mixing.
• 7 mm shaft compatible with our reactor flask adapter.
• Operating temperature range from -270 °C to 270 °C.
• Suitable for conventional sterilisation methods, excluding gamma radiation.
• Compliant with FDA and USP Class VI standards for demanding applications.
