Nahita Abbe refractometers are high-precision optical instruments designed for measuring the refractive index (nD) and sugar concentration (°Brix) in transparent or translucent liquids, as well as in solids. All models include a calibration test piece, a bromonaphthalene bottle and an eyepiece with dioptre adjustment for optimal visual comfort.

Model — Digital Abbe Refractometer with LCD Display and RS232 Output

The digital model enables measurement of refractive index (1.3000–1.7000 nD) and 0–95 % Brix, featuring an LCD screen for direct and precise reading of results. It includes Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) for the Brix scale and RS232 output for printer or PC connection. The optical system comprises a telescopic observation unit and a dispersion correction unit, ensuring a clear and stable image.

The instrument allows connection to a circulation thermostat for sample temperature control, improving accuracy under stable laboratory conditions. Supplied with a protective cover, bromonaphthalene bottle, test piece, adjustment key, spare lamp (6.5 V) and replacement fuses.

Model — Analogue Abbe Refractometer with Digital Thermometer

The analogue model is designed for visual measurement of refractive index and °Brix using natural incident or transmitted light. Built with a metal body and epoxy coating, it offers a robust and stable design. The optical system provides 2× magnification and the reading system 30× magnification, ensuring clear and detailed observation. It includes a digital thermometer and is ready for connection to a circulation thermostat.

Supplied with a protective cover, bromonaphthalene bottle, test piece and adjustment key.
