The polycarbonate desiccator is a laboratory device designed to keep samples free from moisture using desiccant agents. Made of high-strength polycarbonate, it withstands a vacuum of up to -740 mm/Hg with minimal loss, not exceeding 20 mm/Hg within 24 hours.
The base of the desiccator, separated by a perforated plate, serves as a container for desiccant materials such as calcium chloride or silica gel, ensuring a stable and dry internal atmosphere.
The fully transparent lid allows continuous observation of the process and includes a high-precision pressure gauge for accurate vacuum monitoring. A food-grade silicone O-ring provides an airtight seal without the need for grease.
The desiccator is supplied with a 235 mm plate and two rubber hoses for vacuum tap connections.
