Automatic Water Distiller with Quartz Heater
Continuous-output equipment designed to produce high-purity distilled water, free from metallic ions and pyrogenic substances. Suitable for reagent preparation, culture media, final rinsing of glassware, and other demanding applications in laboratories, clinics, hospitals, educational institutions, and R&D departments in the pharmaceutical, agri-food, and environmental sectors.
Entirely made of high-strength borosilicate glass, it ensures durability and thermal stability even during extended use. It includes a safety system that automatically disconnects the quartz heater if the cooling water pressure drops, and reconnects it once flow is restored.
Its compact design (55 × 15 × 50 cm) and wall-mounting bracket facilitate installation, handling, and cleaning. Spare parts available on request: boiler, condenser, level indicator, quartz heater, flow limiter, guide socket, blue plastic nut N.42, and red O-ring for the heater.
Separation – Filtration
Distillers provide high-purity water for laboratory processes requiring water as a solvent. Distillation ensures water suitable for avoiding interference in chemical procedures such as reagent preparation, bacteriological culture media, or final glassware rinsing.
Usage and Safety Recommendations
- Disconnect the unit from the power supply during extended periods of non-use.
- Do not use a single extension lead to power multiple devices simultaneously, as this may cause overheating.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Periodic cleaning of the distiller is recommended to maintain optimal performance and extend its service life. The cleaning frequency depends on the salt content of the input water. It is also advisable to inspect and clean the filters located in the water inlet hose.
