Nahita Electrophoresis Tanks — Horizontal and Vertical Models

Nahita electrophoresis tanks are designed for the vertical separation of proteins in polyacrylamide gels, providing high precision, safety and durability. Manufactured from high-quality, chemically resistant materials, they withstand impacts, high temperatures and corrosive agents, ensuring optimum performance even under intensive laboratory conditions.

The required buffer volume in each model guarantees constant cooling and pH stability throughout the electrophoretic process. The transparent lids ensure effective sealing to prevent buffer evaporation and electrical leakage, and include a built-in safety cut-off that automatically interrupts the current when the lid is removed, ensuring safe operation.

This range is designed to offer easy handling and reproducible results in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of proteins and other biomolecules. Its modular design allows the assembly of different configurations depending on the user’s needs, with interchangeable accessories and combs.

Technical Summary

The horizontal model is designed for routine electrophoresis runs with a single gel and moderate voltages (150 V), making it ideal for teaching laboratories and basic quality control tasks. The vertical model, in contrast, offers greater versatility, allowing simultaneous mounting of up to two gels with voltages up to 800 V and a larger buffer volume (750 mL), making it the perfect choice for advanced research and high-resolution protein analysis.

Both models share the same safety, sealing and pH stability features, ensuring uniform sample migration and reproducible results in every electrophoretic run.
