Power Supply 10-600V / 1-500mA
Laboratory power supply for electrophoresis, model 10/16 of Nahita brand.
This equipment has an LCD display on which the programmed value and the actual value are shown simultaneously. Thanks to its front control panel, it is very practical and easy to use.
It can supply constant voltage, current or power.
It has a timer function and can store up to 10 programs in its memory.
Furthermore, it has 4 parallel outputs, so up to 4 cuvettes can be connected simultaneously.
It automatically detects absence of load, overload, short circuit, resistance variations and overheating, guaranteeing safe and efficient operation.
Applications DNA, RNA, proteins, Western Blot, 2D electrophoresis, semi-dry transfer.
Laboratory power supply for electrophoresis, 10-600V / 1-500mA
This laboratory device provides controlled DC current to power electrophoresis systems, enabling the separation of DNA, RNA and proteins according to their size and charge.
It is designed to meet the specific requirements of various electrophoresis techniques such as gel electrophoresis, Western blotting and DNA/RNA separations. Western blotting is a laboratory technique used to detect a specific protein in a blood or tissue sample.
The equipment is controlled by a dual-core microprocessor and can operate at constant output voltage or current, depending on the needs of each application.
It is equipped with a timer that allows for specific time periods during which the process can be stopped and restarted at a later time. Voltage, current and remaining operating time can be monitored at all times via a large LCD display that shows all three parameters simultaneously.
It has 4 parallel outputs for connecting up to 4 different cuvettes at the same time, and an overload and short-circuit protection mechanism.
• Output type: constant voltage, constant current or constant power.
• Increment according to voltage, current and power output value: 1 V; 1 mA; 1 W.
• Time range: 1 min~99 h, 59 min
• Display: Backlit LCD
• Outputs: four parallel ports
• Can store 10 electrophoresis programs
• With automatic memory function
• With standard operation function and timer
• Protection systems with error alarms
• Working conditions 5-40 °C / 80% RH.
Output measurement units:
• 1 V: Volt. This is the unit of measurement of electrical potential or potential difference in the International System of Units (SI). It represents the amount of energy per unit electric charge.
• 1 mA: Milliampere. It is the unit of measurement of electric current, equivalent to one thousandth of an ampere (1 mA = 0.001 A). Electric current measures the amount of electric charge that passes through a point in a circuit per unit time.
• 1 W: Watt. This is the unit of measurement for power. It represents the rate at which work is done or energy is transferred. One watt equals one joule per second (1 W = 1 J/s), and in electrical terms, it is the product of the current in amperes and the voltage in volts (1 W = 1 V × 1 A).
