Stabilising ring for flasks in thermostatic baths

Stabilising ring made of steel with a red PVC plastic coating, designed to keep flasks properly submerged and stable during use in water baths or thermostatic baths.

The weight of the ring helps counteract flask flotation, reducing the risk of tipping, movement and impact between vessels during heating or temperature-controlled processes.

The PVC coating provides good chemical resistance and high thermal resistance, while also helping to protect the glass against rubbing and scratching during use.

Available in different sizes to suit the dimensions of the neck or body of the flask. As a general guide, the following sizes are suitable for our narrow-neck Erlenmeyer flasks:

  • 48 mm: for 50 and 100 ml flasks
  • 56 mm: for 250 and 500 ml flasks
  • 61 mm: for 1 and 2 L flasks
  • 74 mm: for 3 and 5 L flasks
