Stainless-steel haemostatic forceps with ratchet lock
Instruments for temporary haemostasis and secure grasp of tissue and vessels. Manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, with serrated jaws and a precise joint for stable, low-effort, stepwise locking. Suitable for ultrasonic cleaning and autoclave sterilisation according to protocol.
Halsted-Mosquito straight haemostatic forceps, 120 mm: Compact 12 cm format with fine tips and transverse serrations for delicate manoeuvres in confined fields. The multi-position ratchet lock maintains clamping force without continuous hand pressure, facilitating suture handling and microhaemostasis with tactile feedback and minimal invasiveness.
Straight haemostatic forceps, 140 mm: 14 cm version offering greater reach and leverage while maintaining a straight working line. Provides a stable grip on small to medium calibre vessels and a secure hold on drapes and materials, with stepwise locking for prolonged tasks and direct visibility of the operative area.
Curved haemostatic forceps, 140 mm: Distal curvature improves access within cavities and clears the visual field in deeper areas. Serrated jaws and a ratchet lock deliver controlled grasping where an angled approach is required, reducing shank interference with adjacent structures.
