Zuzi 505 Series Inverted Biological Microscopes: optimised for cell culture and laboratory diagnostics
The Zuzi 505 Series inverted microscopes are designed for the observation of cell cultures, biological fluids and tissue samples adhered to Petri dishes, culture flasks or plates. Available in two configurations to suit different user needs:
- Binocular model: ideal for direct visual observation with ergonomic comfort.
- Trinocular model: designed for digital camera connection or image capture systems.
Both models include a reversed quintuple nosepiece with infinity-corrected plan achromatic objectives that provide flat fields and excellent optical correction. The optical head is inclined at 30°, with Siedentopf-type design, interpupillary distance adjustment (48–75 mm) and ±5 dioptre correction on the left eyepiece. The trinocular model also includes a camera port and Allen key.
The sturdy metallic stand incorporates coaxial coarse and fine focusing knobs on both sides. The right-hand coarse focus includes a friction control ring to adjust tension. The mechanical stage (175 × 145 mm), with double-layer design, provides smooth X-Y translation (78 × 55 mm) and features two clips to secure large or double preparations.
The system includes an Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm, and Köhler illumination with a high-efficiency 3W LED lamp, delivering bright and uniform lighting for extended use without eye fatigue. The light distribution system is adjustable (100:0 / 80:20), and a blue filter is supplied as standard.
These microscopes are ideal for use in cell biology laboratories, microbiology, biomedical research, teaching, and industrial applications.
