Basic Microtome for Education – School and Manual
Basic Hand Microtome for educational and didactic use. Available in School (13 mm) and Manual (23 mm) models, it allows precise cuts from 10 µm thanks to its micrometric screw. Includes blade, holding clamp, and stage.
Basic Microtome for Education – Micrometric Cuts with Precision
The basic microtome for education is an instrument designed for making fine cuts in biological samples for educational or laboratory purposes. Its robust structure, ease of use, and precision make it ideal for school, university, and training laboratory environments.
Both models incorporate a micrometric screw that allows adjusting the cutting thickness from 10 microns (µm), with a total of 50 divisions, facilitating uniform and controlled cuts.
Available Models
- School Model – Ref. 690.510: Includes plastic stage, internal clamp for inclusion holding, and blade. Central hole of 13 mm to accommodate the sample. Ideal for basic educational practices.
- Manual Model – Ref. 690.512: With glass stage, holding clamp, and blade. Central hole of 23 mm for larger samples. More robust design for more intensive or semi-professional use.
Key Features
- Cuts from 10 µm with micrometric control.
- 50 divisions, each equivalent to 10 microns.
- Ergonomic design, portable and easy to handle.
- Includes blade and sample holding mechanism.
- Available with plastic or glass stage depending on the model.
The manual microtome is a key tool for practical learning in microscopy, histology, or biological sample preparation, combining precision, simplicity, and safety.
