Kipp Apparatus with Accessories
Kipp's Apparatus: Laboratory gas generator ideal for preparing controlled volumes of gases. Its design includes a globe-shaped base and ground glass joints, ensuring a hermetic and secure seal. Available in various capacities to suit your experimental needs.
Kipp Type Gas Generator
The Kipp type gas generator is an essential laboratory device for the controlled production of gases through chemical reactions. Its innovative design includes three interconnected spherical chambers, optimizing both safety and process efficiency.
- Upper Chamber: Contains the liquid reagent and connects to the lower chamber via a central tube.
- Lower Chamber: Houses the solid reagent, allowing a chemical reaction to occur when the reagents mix.
- Intermediate Compartment: Acts as an accumulation chamber where the generated gas is collected.
The gas extraction is performed through a valve located at the top. By closing this valve, the gas pressure pushes the liquid back into the upper chamber, automatically stopping the reaction by separating the reagents. This mechanism ensures safe and controlled gas generation, adapting to the user's specific needs.
Ideal for applications requiring gases on demand, this generator offers a perfect balance between functionality and safety in laboratory environments.
