Cone-shaped container made of transparent glass with graduation to determine the capacity of solid sediment in a liquid at rest. The cone is made of borosilicate glass 3.3 with white graduation, Swiss type subdivision.

General properties of borosilicate glass 3.3
The glass is distinguished by its very good chemical resistance to water, salt solutions, acids, bases and organic solvents. It is only attacked by hydrofluoric acid and, at high temperatures, by strong bases and phosphoric acid.
