Plastic Storage for Laboratory Preparations

Our range of plastic cases and boxes is designed to safely store, protect, and organise laboratory slides and cover slips. Manufactured from technical plastics, they combine strength, durability, and lightness. Depending on the model, they may feature hinged or non-hinged lids, stackable formats, and options with numbered paper for easier sample identification.

Material resistance in laboratory use

ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene): a rigid, impact-resistant material, ideal for long-term storage boxes. It maintains its integrity at low temperatures and is suitable for freezing down to –40 °C. Autoclave sterilisation is not recommended.
For cleaning, use neutral detergent and lukewarm water, followed by rinsing with distilled water. Disinfection can be carried out with 70% ethanol or isopropanol, or with diluted sodium hypochlorite solutions, avoiding aggressive solvents and high temperatures that could deform the material.

PP (polypropylene): more flexible and better suited to higher temperatures. Can be used between –20 °C and +100 °C, and tolerates occasional sterilisation in an autoclave at 121 °C. At low temperatures, it is less impact-resistant than ABS.

Folder-type model (PP)

Translucent case for 2 slides. Compact design, functions as a small folder with hinge allowing safe transport and protection of up to 2 preparations. Its reduced size makes it a practical solution for personal use or occasional samples.

Non-hinged box (ABS)

White box with transparent lid for 25 slides. Simple and functional model, designed for basic storage. The transparent lid allows easy reading of labels and convenient organization of frequently used samples.

Hinged boxes (ABS)

Available in capacities of 25, 50, and 100 slides, all in blue with matching lid and base. They feature hinges, safety closure, and are stackable. Supplied with numbered paper to assist classification and traceability of preparations.
