Square and rectangular Marienfeld Superior borosilicate cover glasses

Square and rectangular cover glasses made of D 263® M borosilicate glass, designed to provide high optical quality, dimensional precision and reliable performance in conventional, fluorescence and high-resolution microscopy applications.

• First hydrolytic class glass: high chemical resistance and stability for microscopy applications.
• High optical quality: colourless and transparent glass with excellent flatness and a smooth surface for precise observation.
• Low autofluorescence: suitable for fluorescence microscopy with minimal interference from the glass itself.
• Controlled thickness: the Precision No. 1.5H model offers a tolerance of 170 ± 5 µm for high-resolution microscopy and high numerical aperture objectives.
• Ready to use and suitable for automation: strict quality controls prevent the cover glasses from sticking together, facilitating separation, handling and use in automated systems.

Standard No. 1: general-purpose model for routine sample preparation and observation in laboratories, research, clinical analysis and education.

Precision No. 1.5H: high-precision optical version particularly suitable for high-resolution microscopy and high numerical aperture objectives. Its narrow thickness tolerance helps maintain image contrast, definition and overall quality.

The cover glasses comply with DIN ISO 8255 and are suitable for in vitro diagnostic applications in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/746 (IVDR). They feature CE marking and a batch number for complete traceability.
