Zuzi Series 250 Stereomicroscope – A simple way to explore the microscopic world
The Series 250 stereomicroscope is specially designed for those beginning their journey into the fascinating world of binocular magnification. With its lightweight, compact design and integrated handle, it is easy to carry, making it an ideal tool for classrooms, field trips or hands-on workshops.
Unlike a traditional microscope, this model allows you to see objects in three dimensions. This is achieved because each eye receives a slightly different image, providing a strong sense of depth. It enables clear observation of details in minerals, insects, leaves, fabrics or even small electronic components.
The optical system consists of wide-field eyepieces and two sets of lenses (objectives) that provide 20× or 40× magnification. This is more than enough to appreciate structures that would otherwise go unnoticed to the naked eye. It also adjusts comfortably to each user thanks to bilateral focusing controls and interpupillary distance regulation.
It includes LED lighting with two independently adjustable light sources activated with a single touch:
- Incident light: illuminates the specimen from above, ideal for opaque objects such as stones, insects or electronic parts.
- Transmitted light: shines through the specimen from below, perfect for viewing translucent items like wings, leaves or thin tissues.
It also features an interchangeable base with white and black surfaces to enhance contrast depending on the sample.
This stereomicroscope is ideal for schools, museums, educational workshops and science-enthusiast families. It can be used both indoors and outdoors, as it also operates on rechargeable batteries (not included). Supplied with everything you need to start exploring: eyecups, protective cover, stage plates and connection for rechargeable battery.
