Binocular stereo zoom microscope for industrial and research laboratories

Compact, stable and ergonomic laboratory instrument from the Zuzi brand. The metal base is fitted with rubber feet to protect work surfaces from scratches, and the upper handle allows safe transport.

This instrument is used to observe magnified images of small objects. The resulting image is stereoscopic (three-dimensional), upright (not inverted) and maintains the original colour of the specimen.

This new ZUZI stereo microscope delivers high-resolution images thanks to the wide-range optical zoom, dioptre-adjustable eyepieces and the working distance that can be set at two heights.

It is equipped with a 3 W LED lighting system providing both incident (reflected) and transmitted (through the sample) light. Each illumination source is independently adjustable. By swapping the working stage (translucent, white or black), the user can obtain high-contrast images on samples of different colours.

The instrument features zoom control and coarse/fine focusing knobs on both sides. The zoom system allows continuous adjustment of magnification without loss of sharpness. The zoom knob continuously varies the magnification factor, and the working distance remains constant throughout the zoom range.

The binocular stereo microscope allows continuous magnification from 7x to 45x:

• Two 10x WF eyepieces with 20 mm field of view

• 1x objective

• Zoom range from 0.7x to 4.5x

The observation head is inclined at 45° and can rotate 360° for user comfort. For optimal visual comfort, both eyetubes include ±5 dioptre correction and the interpupillary distance is adjustable from 55 mm to 75 mm.

The working distance can be set to two positions: 100 mm or 35 mm. Both the focus knobs and the zoom control are duplicated on the left and right sides for easy access.

Supplied accessories include: two rubber eyecups, eyepiece dust caps and a protective plastic cover.

The 3 W LED illumination can operate as incident light, transmitted light or both simultaneously. A selector switch allows the user to choose the illumination mode and adjust each intensity independently.

Optional accessories include eyepiece cameras that allow live viewing on an external screen via USB. This accessory is especially recommended for the trinocular stereo microscope version, as one eyetube can be dedicated to the video camera.
