The RS-1524 centrifuge is a high-speed, highly versatile unit designed for processing small-volume samples in clinical, research and industrial laboratories. It allows operation in both rpm and relative centrifugal force (RCF), enabling precise adaptation to a wide range of analytical protocols.

It offers a speed range from 200 to 15,000 rpm (100 rpm increments) and a maximum RCF of 21,380 ×g, maintaining performance even at low temperatures. The system enables adjustment of time (30 s – 99 min or continuous HOLD mode) and temperature from -20 °C to 40 °C, ensuring optimal sample integrity.

The unit is supplied with a 24 × 1.5/2 ml fixed-angle rotor, compatible via adapters with 0.2 ml and 0.5 ml microtubes (not included). Additional rotors (5 ml tubes, PCR strips and higher capacity configurations) are available, expanding application possibilities. All rotors feature biosecurity lids for safe operation.

The centrifuge is equipped with a maintenance-free brushless DC motor, combined with multi-level acceleration and deceleration control (typical time 25 s / 25 s) and an electric brake, ensuring smooth, stable and low-vibration performance. It also includes programme storage, PULSE function for quick spins, and direct switching between rpm and RCF.

Control is performed via a LCD display, providing simultaneous visualisation of key parameters (speed, temperature and time), enabling intuitive operation for both routine and advanced applications.

In terms of safety, the system includes dual lid locking, overspeed and overtemperature protection, and an internal diagnostic system. The electromagnetic lid opening is complemented by a manual emergency release. The centrifuge chamber features ventilation and thermal control through R290 refrigerant cooling, an efficient and environmentally friendly solution, along with an acoustic alert system.

Its compact benchtop design (332 × 553 × 283 mm) and low noise level (≤ 56 dB) allow seamless integration into laboratory environments. The robust construction ensures reliable performance under continuous use.

Available rotors and optional configurations

The centrifuge is supplied with a 24 × 1.5/2 ml fixed-angle rotor. Adapters are required for 0.2 ml and 0.5 ml microtubes (not included).

Additional rotors can be supplied on request to extend the system’s versatility: 18 × 5 ml for round-bottom tubes, 12 × 5 ml for conical-bottom tubes, 36 × 0.5 ml for microtubes, and 4 × PCR8 for PCR strips.
