2-scale model for beer: Brix – Specific Gravity
Specifically designed for craft brewers and fermentation control. Offers two measurement scales: Brix: 0–50 % and Specific gravity (SG): 1,000–1,130 SG. Allows accurate monitoring of sugar content and wort density during the brewing process.
Instructions for use and maintenance
- Preparation: Switch on the refractometer and select the desired scale (Brix, Salt, nD or SG).
- Calibration: Before each use, place a few drops of distilled water on the prism and adjust to zero using the calibration button.
- Measurement: Apply a drop of sample to the prism, close the cover and wait a few seconds for the digital reading.
- Cleaning: Clean the prism with a soft cloth dampened with distilled water and dry; do not immerse or clean under running water.
- Maintenance: Store in its case to prevent damage. Replace the AAA battery when the battery indicator is low.
