Nahita-Blue P-X Microplate Centrifuge
The Nahita-Blue P-X microplate centrifuge is designed for the rapid centrifugation of plates used in laboratory assays, particularly in molecular biology, PCR and immunoassay applications. Its configuration allows operation with 2 microplates of 96 wells and it is compatible with 96- or 384-well microplates, as well as with standard PCR microplates with or without skirts. Thanks to its compact, stable and user-friendly design, it is well suited to laboratories requiring a dedicated unit for the rapid sedimentation of samples in plates before amplification, incubation or analytical reading steps.
The unit is fitted with a maintenance-free brushless DC24 V variable-frequency motor, providing stable, quiet operation and good repeatability for routine laboratory work. The speed range is 300 to 3000 rpm, with 10 rpm increments and an accuracy of ±15 rpm, allowing centrifugation conditions to be adjusted to different sample preparation protocols. The maximum relative centrifugal force is 608 x g, sufficient to bring residual liquid to the bottom of the wells or PCR tubes and improve sample homogeneity before subsequent processing.
The P-X features an instant spin function, reaching maximum speed in approximately 6 seconds, and also includes soft start and soft braking to reduce abrupt disturbance of the plate during acceleration and deceleration. The maximum acceleration time is 6 s and the maximum braking time is 5 s. Plates are loaded in a vertical position, enabling quick placement and practical handling in repetitive laboratory routines.
The unit is controlled by means of a full-segment LCD display, which makes operating parameters easy to read. The timer can be set from 1 to 99 minutes or from 1 to 59 seconds, providing flexibility for both short spins and longer runs. The upper lid is transparent, allowing visual supervision of the chamber, and the centrifuge maintains quiet and stable operation, with a noise level of approximately 60 dB(A) at maximum speed.
For safe use, this centrifuge incorporates lid protection and cannot be started when the cover is open. It also features an overspeed and imbalance detection system, capable of monitoring the centrifugation process in real time to reinforce safe instrument operation. It has an IP20 protection rating and is powered by an AC 220 V, 50-60 Hz adapter with DC24 V / 2.75 A output. Power consumption is 55 W.
As a supplied accessory, it includes a PCR8 adapter for 8 x 0.2 ml microtube strips, extending its field of application beyond conventional microplates.
