SIMAX Borosilicate Glass 3.3 Bottle with Screw Cap

Graduated SIMAX laboratory bottle, made in the Czech Republic from borosilicate glass 3.3, suitable for the storage and transfer of liquids, viscous substances and powders.

Borosilicate glass 3.3 offers high chemical and thermal resistance, low thermal expansion and good resistance to thermal shock. Its transparency facilitates visual inspection of the contents and makes it suitable for laboratory applications requiring frequent cleaning, sterilisation and reuse.

Supplied with a GL screw cap and blue polypropylene (PP) pouring ring. The ring channels the flow to provide clean, controlled pouring and helps reduce dripping, while the opening facilitates the handling of powders and viscous substances.

Features easy-to-read white graduations, a large marking field for identifying the contents and a Retrace Code for traceability. The bottles are manufactured in accordance with ISO 4796-1.

Available in capacities from 10 ml to 25 L. The 10 and 25 ml bottles have a GL25 thread, the 50 ml bottle a GL32 thread and models from 100 ml upwards a GL45 thread.

Compatible caps and accessories

For bottles with a GL45 thread, caps and pouring rings are available separately in blue or white PP and in red PBT, the latter resistant to temperatures up to 180 °C. The range also includes vented caps with a 0.2 µm PTFE membrane, caps with a 34 mm opening for a septum, and caps with 1, 2, 3 or 4 ports for tubing, allowing the bottle to be adapted to different laboratory applications.

Other reagent bottle options

This range is also available in amber borosilicate glass and polyurethane-coated borosilicate glass. For applications that do not require the performance of borosilicate glass, a more economical alternative in soda-lime glass is also available.
