Handheld 3-Scale Refractometer: °Brix or nD
Handheld refractometers with 3 scales: Brix or refractive index.
Portable optical instruments for measuring salinity, brine density, dissolved solids concentration or refractive index in solutions.
Brix model: 0–42 %, 42–71 % and 71–90 % Brix (0.2 % division).
Refractive index model: 1.333–1.400, 1.400–1.470 and 1.470–1.515 nD (0.0005 nD division)
Its lightweight and ergonomic construction makes it ideal for field or laboratory use, with no need for regular maintenance or advanced technical knowledge.
Supplied in a padded case with pipettes, screwdriver and eyepiece with adjustable dioptre compensation.
Handheld Refractometers with 3 Scales: % Brix – Refractive Index nD
The handheld refractometer is a portable optical instrument designed to quickly and accurately measure parameters such as dissolved solids concentration, salinity percentage, saline density, or the refractive index in solutions. It is commonly used in laboratories, the food industry, aquaculture, and industrial process control. Thanks to its simple operation, it requires no advanced technical knowledge or periodic maintenance.
To take a measurement, simply place a small sample on the prism, close the cover, point the refractometer towards a light source, and observe the scale through the eyepiece. The reading is obtained instantly, and the ergonomic design makes these instruments suitable for both field and laboratory use.
Main Features
