Presentation: A cardboard box with 10 plastic boxes containing 100 units: a total of 1,000 coverslips.
Slides made of D 263 M, a clear borosilicate glass manufactured by the draw-down method, this system allows the production of very thin thicknesses between 0.1 and 0.21 mm. The manufacturing process is mechanized and precise, ensuring correct dimensions and good edge quality.
Low auto-florescence and chemical resistance are prerequisites for safe analysis so by using the best glass, the coverslips have excellent flatness and smooth surfaces.
Applications:
- For light and fluorescence-microscopic examinations, especially in medical and biological science. Used as cover slides for microscopic examinations and meet the requirements of ISO 8255-1.
- For in-vitro diagnostic applications according to IVD directive 98/79/EC.
Even after many years of archiving, the slides retain their optical quality because the glass does not corrode and the close thickness tolerance ensures that the slides retain their excellent image quality.
The slides are ready to use and suitable for application in an automatic machine system. All manufacturing steps include strict controls and thus ensure that only intact, non-sticky slides are contained in the boxes. All these properties provide significant advantages to the user, especially if the blades are processed automatically.
